I painted a tree to represent the Tree of Life on this bowl for my altar; it will hold my gems and stones. I can’t wait to see it after it’s fired from the kiln. >_<

My mother has been nagging me to paint a picture with flowers. I have this tendency to draw only dark subjects, but because my mother insisted I finally accepted the challenge. I’ve never had the desire to paint flowers, but after I watched Arrietty I knew I had to paint a scene from there. So here it is. It has been taking me this whole summer to paint this and I still have not completed it. ◕ _ ◕ Oh well, at least I enjoy painting it. Hopefully when I’m finished I will be able to sell it.

Ah this just goes to show my obsession of the GazettE. Drawings are all from the past year. I have yet to draw singles of Kai and Aoi. Hopefully I will find the time to draw more. ( ´∀`)
I’ve never listened to this band before, but I saw their live yesterday at Del mar Fair. I mostly attended their concert because I wanted to practice different types of photography, but I found myself enjoying their music and their enthusiasm. Hopefully through my photographs I captured their energy and cool.
